Abstract

Kinetic resolution of the title compound (±)-1 was effected through Candida cylindracea lipase- and Rhizopus arrhizus lipase-catalyzed transesterification with vinyl acetate in organic solvents. The influence of the enzyme and the solvent on the enantioselectivity was studied.
