### Abstract

The charge-density-wave current density-voltage (D - V)re lation is determined near the depinning threshold V, in the blue bronzes K,.3M003 and Rbo.3M003 by measuring the narrow-band voltage noise frequency of single CDW domains. A fit to the formula j,-,= = -CDW(V,/I)[(V-/V 11, 7)' yields a linear relation y = 1.0(+ 0.1) for fields V, c V CZ V, within the temperature range of 51 to 77 K. This finding is qualitatively different from theoretical results based on the mean-field approximation of the deformable medium model (y = 3/2) and also from the classical model of a finite domain in the potential of a single impurity (y = l/Z). The CDW conductivity, OCDW, near threshold is activated similarly to the findings of FLEMINeGt a l. (Phys. Rev. B, 33 (1986) 5450) at higher fields.
