Lead Determination in Flying Dust with Atomic Absorption Method.

Liquid and solid sample techniques were used to examine the lead content of dust in the air of Budapest using the SPEKTROMOM 190 A atomic absorption spectrophotometer coupled with the INTEGRATOR device. Measurement ranges 2-13 mu g Pb for the liquid evaporation and 0. 4-2 mu g Pb for the solid sample technique. The results showed that the allowed 2 mu g Pb level was exceeded in each of the measurements.
