Liquid and solid sample techniques were used to examine the lead content of dust in the air of Budapest using the SPEKTROMOM 190 A atomic absorption spectrophotometer coupled with the INTEGRATOR device. Measurement ranges 2-13 mu g Pb for the liquid evaporation and 0. 4-2 mu g Pb for the solid sample technique. The results showed that the allowed 2 mu g Pb level was exceeded in each of the measurements.
