Abstract

The lattice site location of Co was determined in congruent LiNbO3 crystals doped with Co using particle-induced X-ray emission combined with channeling techniques. The LiNbO3 single crystal was grown by the Czochralski method. Co was found to occupy exclusively the Li site.
