### Abstract

An analysis is made of the lattice dynamics of a model displacive-type ferroelectric with impurities. The approximations of a self-consistent phonon field and of the coherent potential are used to determine the phonon spectrum of a disordered lattice and to calculate the dependences of the Curie-Weiss constant and Curie temperature on the concentration x in the range 0 less than equivalent to x less than equivalent to 1. A qualitative agreement is obtained with the experimental results for (Ba-Sr)TiO//3 and (Pb-Sr)TiO//3 perovskite solid solutions.
