Lattice defects in nonlocal elasticity

A general treatment of the properties of static lattice defects is given in nonlocal elasticity. The results are applied to calculate the elastic interaction and self-energy of dilatation centres. It is shown that the results are equivalent with the ones of discrete atomic model calculations.
