Kondo effect in the presence of itinerant-electron ferromagnetism studied with the numerical renormalization group method

Abstract

The Kondo effect in a QD attached to ferromagnetic leads was studied and found to be generally suppressed. However, it was restored by applying an external magnetic field Bcomp, tuned such that the splitting of the Kondo resonance is compensated and the condition n=n is fulfilled.
