IR-image visualization in resonant gas media

Abstract

Summary form only given, as follows. A novel method of infrared image visualization on the basis of the four-photon parametric wave interaction in resonant gas media is suggested. Due to degenerate parametric interaction between different angular components of the probing and pumping waves, the angular spectrum of visible output radiation repeats the IR-signal angular spectrum.
