IR and polarized Raman spectra of anilinium hydrogenphosphite, C6H5NH3+ HPO3H-

Abstract

The IR and polarized Raman spectra of anilinium hydrogenphosphite, C6H5NH3+ HPO3H-, were recorded and analysed. All the characteristic IR and Raman bands of the monosubstituted benzene ring, C6H5NH3+, and the hydrogenphosphite ion, HPO3H-, were identified. Both the ions occupy lower site symmetry in the crystal lattice. Strong hydrogen bonding in the compound is indicated by ABC bands.
