Ionization of He by slow antiproton impact: Total and differential ionization cross sections

Abstract

We present accurate theoretical total ionization cross sections for the single and double ionization of He by antiproton impact. We also show differential cross sections for single ionization at 10 and 100 keV antiproton energies. We analyze the angular distribution of the electrons as a function of ejection energies and investigate the dominant features of the differential cross sections. We identify strong post-collisional projectile-electron interaction effects.
