Ion-electron coincidence extensions for an electrostatic electron spectrometer

Abstract

The design of a recoil ion and a scattered projectile detector is presented. The devices are used to measure the recoil and projectile ions in coincidence with the electrons ejected from atomic collisions measured by a high resolution triple pass electrostatic electron spectrometer (ESA-21).
