Abstract

In the investigated strain of Nadsonia slovaca a constitutive, intracellular, acetone-resistent maltose-splitting enzyme was demonstrated, observed previously by us in some other yeasts, too. The sucrose assimilation of the investigated strain is considered as an adaptive property, because no constitutive sucrose splitting enzyme could be demonstrated.
