Sisal fiber reinforced polypropylene composites were examined at different fiber orientations. The critical stress intensity factor was determined by the examination of SEN-T specimens and bending strength and bending elastic modulus by three point bending test. It has been revealed that the critical stress intensity factor and bending elastic modulus of the matrix increased to a great extent as a result of unidirectional reinforcement; hence sisal fiber reinforced polymer composites are applicable as structural materials.
