Abstract

In the Zr//2Ni glass system hydrogen appears to locate at sites within Zr-rich tetrahedral structures. The data described suggest that these sites may be fewer than predicted by the random packing model or alternatively, that there is considerable H-H interaction within the glass matrix. There could exist a combination of these phenomena.
