Infrared and optical spectra of polymerized AC 60 fullerides

Abstract

We present optical spectra of polymeric AC60 salts (A=K,Rb,Cs) from the far infrared through the ultraviolet. The spectra are essentially independent of the counterion and reflect the metallic character of the electronic system and the decreased symmetry of the molecular units.
