Improved Spectroscopic Constants for I4C16O2 Obtained from the v3 Band

Abstract

The absorption spectra of carrier free 14C16O2 in the spectral range of 2290 – 2150cm−1 by a medium resolution FTIR spectrometer, and the spectral region of 2258–2229 cm−1 with a high resolution tunable diode laser spectrometer have been recorded. Spectroscopic constants were calculated from the 00° 1 – 00°0 and 01 – 01 10 transitions.
