Impedance spectroscopy of halogen lamps

Abstract

A simple impedance model has been developed to analyse electrical behaviour of incandescent lamps. Experiments carried out on two halogen lamp types showed excellent correspondence between predicted and measured lamp characteristics directly related to filament temperature and fill pressure. The impedance method described here can be applied for testing incandescent lamps.
