Abstract

The sera of 8 patients suffering from lupus erythematosus chronicus and treated with chloroquine showed an in vitro inhibiting effect on the immunorosette formation. Maximal inhibition occurred at 1:200 dilution. The in vitro E rosette formation of human T lymphocytes was also inhibited by the sera of 4 patients during chloroquine administration. The inhibiting effect of chloroquine is weaker than that of immunosuppressive drugs.
