Imaging of ECR plasmas with a pinhole x-ray camera

The images formed using 14.5 GHz electron cyclotron resonance plasmas of ATOMKI, in a pinhole x-ray camera were discussed. Argon, xenon and iron plasmas were produced during the measurement of x-ray images along with extracted beam spectra. The x-ray images in full size and selected region were studied. The spatial sources of different x-rays were obtained within the ECRIS plasmas by using full-size images, where as images of selected plasma regions helped to understand the effect of tuning parameters used in the production of highly charged plasmas and beams.
