Identification of parameters in neutral functional differential equations with state-dependent delays

Abstract

We introduce a parameter identification algorithm and establish its theoretical convergence on initial value problems governed by neutral functional differential equations with state-dependent delays. The discretization of the differential equation is based on an Euler-type approximation method using equations with piecewise constant arguments. Numerical examples are included.
