Holographic imaging of atoms using thermal neutrons

Abstract

The internal-detector concept was realized for neutron holography. Using a spherically shaped single crystal of PbCd as example, the object was restored without making use of any a priori knowledge about the orientation of the sample. The results demonstrated the feasibility of atomic resolution neutron holography.
