Higher-order mode photonic bandgap fibers with reversed dispersion slope

Abstract

Numerical simulations by the vector finite element method show that the dispersion slope of all-silica hollow-core Bragg photonic bandgap fibers can be adjusted by structural modification of a standard quarterwave cylindrical stack design.
