HDS, HDN and HDO of FCC gasoline spiked with benzothiophene over PtPd/H-USY

Abstract

A new application field of Pt-Pd/USY zeolite is presented. PtPd/USY was used to desulfurize selectively catalytically cracked naphtha of various sulfur contents. Selective HDS and HDN performance of PtPd/USY was found to be superior compared to a commercial CoMo/Al2O3 (KF-756) and a new CoMo/Al2O3 being industrially applied for selective HDS of cracked gasoline.
