Abstract

We demonstrate a 100-kHz optical parametric chirped-pulse amplifier delivering pulses of ∼42 fs at ∼3.1 μm with an output average power exceeding 12 W. With active stabilization, single-shot carrier-envelope phase noise below 100 mrad is expected to be reachable.
