Glomerular filtration in diabetic children

Abstract

The clearance of inulin has been studied in 13 diabetic children with a history of 1-5 years, and in 13 healthy children. Inulin clearance in the diabetic group was significantly higher than in the controls, a phenomenon suggested to be correlated with diabetic microangiopathy.
