Abstract

2,3,3a,4-Tetrahydro-3-aryl-4-phenyl[1]benzothiopyrano[4,3-c]pyrazoles 6-15 have been synthesized by the reaction of (Z)-3-arylidene-1-thioflavanones 1-5 with hydrazines. Structures of all new compounds have been elucidated by microanalyses, IR, 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopies.
