Further studies on the secondary ion emission of pure metals using the pseudo-atom method

Abstract

The ionization probabilities were calculated using a realistic potential by the aid of the pseudo-atom method. Generally better agreements were achieved between the calculated and experimental values without any fitted parameter for 25 pure metals.
