FRONTIERS OF STRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION.

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

The paper presents a state-of-the-art report on structural optimization with a particular reference to structural layout problems. General principles are discussed at a simplified level and practical applications considered. The power of nonnumerical computer-based decision-processes is demonstrated.
