Field theory of spin-two mesons and an equivalence theorem

Abstract

The LSZ formulation of the theory of spin-two particles is discussed. The influence of the properties of the tensor current on the superfluous components of the interpolating field is studied. By means of the asymptotic condition it is shown that one can always construct a spin-two tensor field which satisfies all the subsidiary conditions without changing the S-matrix and the four-momentum operator.
