Abstract

The Anderson model is generalized for degenerate orbitals. Fermi liquid theory is derived for low temperatures by using Ward identities and the physical quantities are expressed in terms of five Fermi liquid parameters. In the s-d limit the low temperature behavior for spin S equals 5/2 is solved exactly.
