Abstract

The use of glass capillaries as waveguide optical systems was analyzed. Features of x-ray radiation from plasma sources transmitted through glass capillary converters were studied. The studies were based on geometric optics approximation. The capillary entrance from laser plasmas and z-pinch sources was investigated using the effect of parameters like the glass capillary shape, size, dimensions and distances.
