Abstract

Fabrication and transport properties of thin films of quasicrystals (QC) were presented. Multilayer deposition and post annealing were used. Results showed that both amorphous and icosahedral phases have the same temperature dependence of the resistivity. The photoconductivity measurements on QC thin films offer a tool to study the energy dependence of the electron mobility.
