Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to present a general theory of exact compliance-based, multi-load truss topology optimization, including an illustrative example and its numerical verifications. A minor aim is to provide background material for an Authors' Reply to a Discussion by Logo of a paper by Rozvany and Maute.
