Evolution of satellite lines accompanying photoionization

Abstract

Evolution of the Auger and X-ray satellite lines was studied. The experimental data for the intensity ratio of the satellite line relative to the diagram line accompanying photoionization as a function of incident photon energy were fitted to the theoretical models based on the adiabatic approximation. The Thomas model, the Vatai model, the model of Roy et al. and its modification were considered. Comparison of these models was made and the difference between four models was discussed.
