Abstract

Kinetic curves measured in the oxidation of n-butenes over a Sn:Sb=3:1 mixed oxide catalyst were fitted by the kinetic model put forward in a previous paper. The goodness of fitting shows that the kinetic behavior of this complex reaction system can be described by a mechanism involving acidic and redox sites on the catalyst surface.
