The authors present a case report of a 29 years old woman. Endometrial malignancies are rare in young women. Women with PCOS frequently suffer from pathological vaginal bleedings (as a result of chronic anovulation and hyperandrogenic state), acne, hirsutism, metabolic-X syndrome, hypertension and sterility. Adenosquamous carcinoma was diagnosed in a young woman having PCOS as well. Abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingoophorectomy was performed, with postoperative radiation and progesterone therapy. The authors discuss the importance of prevention, early diagnosis and effective therapy.
