Electron spectroscopic investigations of amorphous and crystallized Fe82B12Si6 (Metglas 2605s)

Abstract

The electron structure of amorphous and crystallized Fe82B12Si6 has been investigated by means of UPS, XPS and EELS, with the aim to establish spectral features distinguishing the two phases. Our results show distinct redistribution in the valence density of states, extending several eV below the Fermi level.
