Abstract

The temperature and pressure coefficient of electrical resistance (TCR and PCR) of Ni-B amorphous alloys with B content of x equals 18. 5 to 40 at% was measured near room temperature up to about 1 Gpa. With increasing x TCR decreases from a positive to a negative and PCR increases from a negative to a positive value. Both coefficients equal zero at about x equals 34 at%. The results cannot be interpreted by the Ziman model using NFE approximation, localized states can also play a role.
