Effect of a ganglion blocker, pempidine tosilate, on allergic skin reactions (Hungarian)

Abstract

A study was made of the effect of the ganglion blocking agent pentamethyl piperidine (Synapleg , EGyT) in allergic skin reactions of the early and late types. The models of the early type of skin reaction were passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (in mice) and inverted passive Arthus reaction (in guinea pigs); the models for the late type were hypersensitivity to 2:4 dinitrochloro benzol (in mice) and the Jones Mote reaction (in guinea pigs). It was found that this ganglion blocking agent exerts a stronger suppressive action on the early than on the late type of allergic skin reaction.
