Abstract

A method using Gamow wave functions is presented for calculating the parameters of the one-level formula for an isobaric analogue resonance. As a numerical example the isobaric analogue resonances in 208Pb + p have been computed. The agreement with the exact solution of the Lane equations is reasonable.
