Dynamical symmetries of molecular states in atomic, nuclear and hadron physics

Abstract

The algebraic description of dipole degrees of freedom is discussed. These degrees of freedom are relevant to two and few-body systems, as well as in the collective motion of many-body systems. Applications to molecular, nuclear and hadron spectroscopy are presented. Different internal degrees of freedom can also be coupled to the spatial ones, leading to realistic models of several complex systems.
