Dynamical Multifragmentation

Abstract

Multifragmentation is described as a quasi phase transition during the dynamical evolution of heavy ion collisions. A 3 fluid model of the dynamical evolution and geometrical break ups leading to multifragmentation are considered. The possibility of surface multifragmentation is mentioned as an instability growth phenomenon.
