Abstract

A new type of polyelectrolyte amphiphilic conetwork (APCN), the poly(methacrylic acid)-l-polyisobutylene (PMAA-l-PIB), was synthesized. Sustained drug release was observed with theophyl-line with a sample containing 50% PIB.
