Dose intercomparison using spectrophotometric readout method for free radical dosimetry

Abstract

The present paper describes the dose intercomparison studies with alanine and glutamine using the spectrophotometric readout method. These dosimeters were used for γ irradiations at the Institute of Isotopes, Budapest and ISOMED (BARC). Both electron (10 MeV) and γ irradiations were done at RISO (Denmark). There was a very good agreement between the measured and nominal dose values.
