Abstract

PCPA, dopamine and the dopamine agonist epinine inhibited trytophan hydroxylase activity in nervous tissue homogenates of Anodonta cygnea and Mytilus edulis (Bivalvia). Haloperidol did not affect tryptophan hydroxylase activity in the homogenates nor did it antagonize dopamine action.
