Dielectric excitations of the pinned charge- and spin-density wave

The temperature dependence of the dielectric response is studied in K0.3MoO3 and (TMTSF)2PF6 by small amplitude a.c. excitations and real time relaxation experiments. We characterize the glassy dynamics of the pinned condensate by the complex dielectric constant, ε(ω, T). We find that the internal degrees of freedoms freeze out at low temperatures and this process is investigated in details.
