Abstract

The sera of 10 patients with two or more paraproteins were studied. Paraproteins occurred in the following combinations: Sze: IgGK, BJL (also in urine); Ma: IgGK, IgGK: An: IgGK, IgGK (cryogel); Pa: IgGK, IgGL; Me: IgGK, IgGK, IgAK; Go: IgGK, IgAK, IgAK (?); Kov: IgGK, IgGK, IgAK, IgAK (?); Il: IgMK, IgGK; Sch: IgMK, IgGK; and Or: IgMK, IgGK, BJK. After the presentation of the methods and the results the development of double or multiple paraproteinemias is discussed. Dilution comparative immunoelectrophoresis is recommended for their screening.
