Abstract

The aim of the Széchenyi-plan, a National Research and Development Project is to develop a basalt fiber reinforced polymer composite challenging the traditional glass- and carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites both technically and economically providing an alternative to customers. Therefore a consortium has been created with several partners covering the total innovation process from the production of the basic material through the R&D activities up to the manufacture of products and their final utilization for recycling.
