Abstract

Detection filter approach was discussed to extend the results of linear time-invariant (LTI) systems for a class of linear time-varying (LTV) and linear parameter varying (LPV) systems. The detection filter structure and construction of the filter gain were derived. The fault detection and isolation problem were formulated mathematically.
