Design of bang-bang control for dual channel DC-DC buck and boost converter

Abstract

A design of the bang-bang control of a dual channel resonent buck and boost DC-DC converter was developed. The quality of control is characterized by two quality figures such as the voltage ripple and the voltage error. it was found that the voltage ripple and voltage error decreases when the capacitor voltage was decreased and when the load resistance or the lower switching frequency of the Bang-Bang control was increased. The results show good agreements both for the voltage ripples and for the voltage errors.
